The rebel and his sidekick: My dad, Tommy Messer (Chadwick SR, by famous standards, Stompin Tom Connors), met my mom Dorthy Tammy Anne McIntyre (by famous standards, Reba McEntire), in Timmins, Ontario. They met while dad was working at the Holinger Mines and mom was hanging around the McIntyre Mines, which belongs to our family.
